Today Saint let us carry on with 3D tracking in nuke, for the first 30 minutes of the class I wasn’t sure what I wanted to track I’d looked through all of our stock footage and during this time I was thinking about Guy Ritchie king Arthur and that was my inspiration. I went to the court yard and filmed the stones closet to the tree and circled around them (That was you can a 360 view of my sword) I started by opening an old Maya folder that had an unfished sword, I used the knife tool to cut the edges and then pull them inwards to create a sharp edge afterwards I removed part of the handle and started trying to curve the guard but after some time I gave up as the guard seemed too ruff and didn’t look good at all. I download a sword from Turbosquid and then imported to Maya I had to re a line all of the pieces as they would separate when I brought them into Maya. Finally I re-textured the whole sword using images from google, then imported this file and my video into nuke.
