Question

What did we think of the over grown New York land scape?

In some parts it was very obvious that there been a outbreak of sorts and people had been evacuated and that nature had taken over but in most of the scenes it just looked like people had left, there was a scene where will smith is walking in times square and its covered by this waist high grass and in the next shot there no grass just some rubbish and little weeds on the ground which to me doesn’t make much sense. I think they should have had more quarantine building or a quarantine street that way we can see the full effect of this man-made outbreak. I was able to find out that its set 3 year later so I would have more weeds, grass, moss and rust. I like the use of animals, the scene were Will Smith is hunting the deer and suddenly a pride of lions show up and kill the deer was cool but in the long run we don’t see them again which is fine as they don’t really add anything to the overall story but maybe have their presences- wolves howling during the night, elephants tusk marking on the lamp post, smaller animals in the grass and incest’s.
