Today I was able to get parallaxes, pull- focus and I’m still working on the day to night.
Parallaxes- I cut out the big tree trunk that was in my image and had the camera move from the right to left, so that it looks like your walking past, I also scaled up the tree so that it covered more of the house. I had to clone the background where I cut out the tree to do this. One thing that really didn’t work was my idea to zoom out of the tree and then pan to the left or right, I slowed down the zoom out but it just didn’t look good at all.
Pull-focus- Not much to say I did two one that had the tree blurred and the second with the background it was just to get an idea of which one would work best and look good.
Day to night- this is talking more time than I expected, the first part I added a exposer and grade all of this was fine but where the tree lie is you can clearly see that I’ve taken this photograph during the day time, so that was my problem and so far I’ve done a very quick roto around the treeline/sky and feathered it.
