Swiss army man is the first full feature length film by the two directors know as Daniels, they have done a wide range of shorts, music videos (best known for little johns turn down for what were the directors is the guy humping everything) This film is hands down the most original film of 2016, what really weird about his film apart from Daniels Radcliffe’s dead body being dragged around is the fact that the directors included everything they hate fart jokes, survival films, acapella music so the idea of them creating a film out of everything they hate is awesome, which is why I think the forest is so full of rubbish its everything they hate.
Digital effects They kept the visual effects to a minimum in this film from what I noticed they only used it for the long shots, establishing shots and these were all shot that needed visual effects, the sequences where they cross the rusted tube the long shot was all visual effects any close shot looking up or down they would have built a small-scale replica of the tube, something that I didn’t notice until was that Daniel Radcliff never blinked which means they digital removed any of his blinks.
Piratical effects were used a tone! from Daniel Radcliff’s boner which was a mincal tube that was controlled remotely to his vomit which was a water tube attached to the side of his face even the bear was real as their budget won’t have allowed for a good CGI bear (this was like a episode of Game Of Thrones) they really brought the practical effects back to basic as they shock leaves and added animal effects to convey the a "monster".
I had to look up the meaning of the film and this is what I found. It’s all about being yourself the film dose an exallent job of tearing down society norms.
