Yesterday I gave a presentation on the use of composting in district 9. I thought I'd gone way over the 7 minute mark when in fact I'd spoke for 6 minutes, I dont have a problem with public speaking, its always a bit awkward at first and I think I just need to take it slow and add more slides as having 3 slides I felt limit and it thought me off at times. Picking a subject that I generally had an interest in really helped with the flow of the talk.
I practice at home in front of one of my roommates just to see what he thought of the presentation after wards he said that it was good there were some moment were I spoke really fast and it needed less words.
Next time we do a class presentation I want to aim closer tot he 7 minute mark, show some of my own examples and just remember to take it slow.
