In today's lesson we learnt about the clone stamp, I'd had some practices with this tool before but I found that after a while the images become whiter dude to there over use. The tool allows us to remove any objects in a photograph and replace it with the background.
We were give a screen shot of Interstellar and were told to remove both actors. At first removing them was very channelling as you'd select the stamp tool and click on the area you want to remove and brush it out, but after looking at the image more closing I resized that the fire was uneven and I'd removed the smoke. I solved this problem by selecting a smaller brush size and changing my selected part of the background as I went along, for the fire I cloned the area that would be cloned out and just replicated it I did have to re-a-line part of the fire. Overall I feel comfortable using the stamp tool as the only issues I had with the second image was the man near the tree I cloned him out but realised that I had also removed part of the tree.
